Coast Valley Cascade is a work created through the conversation of 53 small paintings. It was commissioned as a percent for art and is installed at Crescent Village in Eugene, Oregon. The work juxtaposes encaustic paintings with imbedded found objects, archival photographs from the Lane County Historical Society and modern photographs to look at the nature of the area and the impact of humans on our environment.
